Over the past 7 years of her career as a professional photographer Aga Maru has worked on a variety of assignments in the fields of wedding, portrait, commercial, editorial and Fine Art photography.

Her work has featured in many print and online publications including The Irish Times, The Irish Independent, Condé Nast Brides, Image Magazine and The Irish Herald. She organises a birthday party for her cat Arsenic every year and was recently voted as one of the TOP 3 photographers in Ireland in the BashCREATE awards as well as being named one of the 10 Bright New Wedding Stars by Irish Bride magazine. She loves sea salt ice cream from Murphy's and she has appeared on television and radio shows including TV 3s' XPosé, RTÉ Ones' At Your Service and the Artbeat programme on Dublin City FM.

She has the most varied collection of loyalty cards in Ireland and so far photography has brought her on many international assignments including the UK, France, Morocco, Italy, Poland, Monaco and Switzerland. Her favourite breakfast food is pickled herring. She has hosted two solo exhibition shows for her Fine Art work and has also taken part in group exhibitions in Dublin, New York and Los Angeles.
